looks very bland in comparison to the genres top guns. Afro Samurai will either be a guilty pleasure, or total crap imo.

Though the site is effective when it comes to quickly looking up the major site like IGN, 1up, Gamepro, GameInformer, etc.

Basically, you should actually look through what makes up that average, read the reviews you deem legit and go from there. Try demos, rent the game if need-be. It isn't worth it to cost yourself a good experience by just going off some average score made up by half legit reviews, half fanboy site both for and against a product (aka Sonic reviews of any sort...

As Ready at Dawn put together Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier as the launch title for PSP2, consider me sold.

makes me realize just how biased N4G is. Forget GT, seriously, we get 5-10 anti-PS3 "it must die articles" that get approved quickly and basically half or more of the comments claim truth and love with total BS. Any pro-PS3 hardware/software rant/article gets immediately bashed, not too mention quite hastily reported. I also love how mods took away my reporting rights for reporting obvious spam (10-line rants with no backing, numbers or proof).

I know there are a lot ...

get over it people. I'm not even being a fanboy about it, it's just boring. I was looking forward to it, but after three visits, I want nothing to do with it. Lame.

Hilarious and probably true. Kojima saying MGS4 was going to the 360 would have guaranteed an A+ from 1up (remember the F* you Kojima issue?). Then, you just turn around after release and say, nope.

Maybe that's what Square is doing with FFXIII? lol.

This game will score well with the non-traditional douchebage. With the traditional ones (1up, gametrailers, gamespot, gamesradar) expect some underscoring.

I say go with what's worked in the past. If demos traditionally cause you to spoil the hype, stay away till Feb 27. If not, do the pre-order and try it out.

As a beta player, I can tell you this game is quite incredible. Loved it and I was blown away by just how good and actually fairly original it was. It's nothing new in concept, but with a halo look and pace in terms of encounters and intensity online combined with a tactical side (incorporated more with the cover in campai...

And good points to back it up. I didn't find the swap broken and the sphere grid (though empty nodes were annoying) was a good tool for me. I know some don't like it and that's fine. In fact, many think the skill board of FFXII was better (similar concept), so maybe it's niche?

Again, I love FFVIII, so don't get me wrong there. I'm curious, if you found Yuna annoying, what did you think of FFXII's more serious, emotionally stronger (kinda) female characters like Ashe?

Most PS3 fans here hate Famitsu for the overrated review. Clue in and stop the trolling.

Right?

like........Gamespot?

Try IGN or GameInformer mate.

Also, I'd ignore Gametrailers, aka the site with video editors that hate PS3, for this one.

Try, try again.

I feel sorry for folks like you though when proof becomes available of great reviews for this game. I'm on both sides of the fence in the console wars, but I can honestly say that the Sony-nites are going to be running rampant when good, high profile scores hit.

Then again, heavy XBOX supporters, like you, have really come down without merit on this title. It's going to be rough, probably double the atmosphere that absorbed this site upon MGS4's r...

That said, maybe it's cause he actually had a voice. Anyone else think Zidane would have been unbearable with voice acting? Just look how Dissidia portrays kiddy-monkey-midget.

Now that said, VIII has a tremendous story. Love it. X felt like more of a complete package though with faster, more varied battle gameplay. I prefer cards to blitzball, but both were great. The other characters (especially Wakka) were excellent and the world of Spira to me stands as the greatest RPG Fan...

What's your pick for best then? The cliche seven pick? Or maybe six (i'd have no arguement). Some think nine, I like nine a lot, but it felt like a step backwards in a lot of ways. Five was like playing Final Fantasy Power Rangers.

So, if not X, what?

That this fellow is heavily biased towards 360 and is looking for an excuse to disprove this article.

Please consider that a neogaf forum post claiming EGM's Lair score in 2007 was enough for 10 sec approval and heat of 1000 degrees plus in minutes.

Reading this, it's no surprise. Official Playstation Mag gives PS3's biggest game ever a perfect score. It's like claiming Halo Wars GOTY when OXM gives it a 10.

EDIT: Nice to see Steven Colbert legitimately give a reason for the report. Still, we didn't need scans for bad PS3 exclusive reviews, so this should actual...

In fact, I did. I just hate how Magic got swept under the rug for battle purposes. Elemental awareness aside in junctioning, it took away the concept. That's all that hurt the game.

Sure, more expensive than the 80's today...but guess what?! I get BC. BWAHAHAHA!

Anyways, reported for being a duplicate story.

-increased profits
-better shipment numbers
-CONFIRMED Sony install base of 17 million
-2008 year-end install may be as much as 19 million
-Software sales include 1.5 million LBP, 1 million Resistance 2...in other words, Sony published software selling just fine

Add to this 2009 brings Killzone 2, Infamous (with what Sony calls a hollywood movie marketing budget), WKC, FFXIII exclusive in Japan, Uncharted 2, probably a new Ratchet game and more!
